MEMENTO
Mund edhe të mos ishim takuar në jetë,
mund edhe të mos kishe ardhur ashtu
si një shtojzovalle, e sigurt në vetvete
e të uleshe përballë meje
me flakën shkrepëtitëse të syve,
që mbushi me një dritë koralesh tërë qenien time.
Zëri yt u derdh si një shushurimë valësh.
Mund edhe të mos kishe ardhur
dhe gjërat mund të kishin mbetur si më parë.
Mua nuk do të më mbulonte ajo dritë e tepërt
që vinte nga thellësitë e detrave të tu,
ai verbim i ajrit rreth e rrotull,
ajo klithmë habie, ajo drithërimë.
Nuk ma mbajtën këllqet tërë këtë vërshim vezullues
që përmbyti ç’ gjeti përpara
dhe m’u desh të rivë në vendin e vet
gjithë shtyllat e rrëzuara brenda meje. Nga të çarat
e shpirtit
filloi të rrjedhë teprica e dritës
si ca përrenj kanionesh.
